Returns

You have 30 days from your order being shipped to lodge your return.

Once lodged, you have up to 7 days to post your return back to us.

Your return must meet the following conditions:

- Returned items must be unworn, unused, free from scent and in original unmarked condition with all tags attached.

- We accept returns on regular Sale and promotional markdown items unless otherwise stated.

- We do not accept returns on any Accessories, Jewellery, Intimates or products marked as Final Sale.

If your return does not comply with these conditions, your item/s will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your own cost.

A $9.50 AUD fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the cost of shipping, unless you opt for a store credit, in which case we cover the return shipping fee.

Standard Refund

Please send back your return within 7 days. Once we receive your return, please allow 3-7 business days for your return to be processed. You will receive a confirmation email once we have processed the return and your refund.

Please note that refunds are issued back to the original payment method used at checkout. Any amount paid via card or other payment methods will be refunded to that same method. For partial returns, refunds are generally applied to cash/card payments first, with any remaining balance issued to store credit or gift card where applicable.

Store Credit

Opt for a standard store credit, and we will cover the return shipping fee. Store credits are valid for 3 years.

Please send back your return within 7 days. Once we receive your return, please allow 3-7 business days for your return to be processed. You will receive a confirmation email once we have processed the return and issued your store credit.

Instant Refund (Refundid)

Refundid is a verified instant refund service - meaning you can access your refund instantly before you’ve even returned your items.

To facilitate this, Refundid will require you to provide personal information in order to verify your refund. If you have any concerns about this, please reach out to our customer service team.

If Refundid is chosen, you will be refunded to your nominated bank account, instantly.

Please note, although you have received your refund instantly, we will still need time after your parcel is received to send through confirmation of your returned items. 

VRG GRL is not responsible for any monetary reversal from Refundid if the customer has not provided the tracking number or followed all steps set out by Refundid. If your refund is reversed, you will need to wait until we physically receive your return back so we can process your return manually.

Instant Exchange (Refundid)

You can opt for a size exchange using Refundid - your new size will be dispatched as soon as you lodge your exchange request. Please ship back your return within 7 days, ensuring you have followed all steps set out via Refundid.

BRISBANE - RETURN DROP OFF

We offer free returns drop off at our Brisbane Distribution Centre

Drop off hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm (AEST) Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Please lodge your return through our returns portals above and select 'drop off' as the return option.

Once we receive your return, please allow 3-7 business days for your return to be processed. We will email you and let you know that your return has been processed.

Please ensure you have your order number, email and name attached to the return.

If the item is returned out of the return policy time frame, the return will not be accepted. A staff member will check your return is within the valid return time.

RETURN IN STORE

Purchases made in-store or online can be returned in-store with the help of our store team. You will need to provide your full name and order number for purchases made online. You will need your receipt if it was an in-store purchase. If you don’t have a copy of your receipt, you can find this in your VRG GRL account. 

RETURNING WITH OWN CARRIER

A $15 USD flat rate shipping cost applies to Instant and Standard return options. If you opt for a Store Credit, we will cover your return fees.

For partial returns, refunds are generally applied to cash/card payments first, with any remaining balance issued to store credit or gift card where applicable.

YOUR EU STATUTORY RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If you're an EU customer, you have a legal right to withdraw from your order for any reason, no explanation needed, starting from the moment you place your order and for 14 days after you receive it. 

This right exists independently of our standard 30-day returns policy above, and nothing in that policy limits it.

You can exercise this right at any point after ordering, including while your order is still being prepared or is in transit. You don't need to wait for delivery.

Withdraw from your order

You can withdraw from your order directly on the Order Status page, from the moment your order is confirmed. You can also do so by visiting this page.

Once you've told us you're withdrawing:

- You have 14 days to post the item(s) back to us.

- We will refund everything you paid, including the outbound delivery charge.

- Refunds are issued to your original payment method, unless you tell us you'd prefer store credit instead.

A small number of items are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal under EU law - specifically:

- Made-to-order or personalised items

- Sealed items sold for hygiene reasons, once the seal has been broken, for example, jewellery, cosmetics, and swimwear/intimates sold with a hygiene seal

These items will be clearly marked on the product page and at checkout. If an item isn't marked this way, the statutory withdrawal right applies to it, regardless of whether it was purchased at full price or on sale/markdown. Sale and promotional items carry the same withdrawal right as full-price items unless they fall into one of the categories above.

You will need your receipt if it was an in-store purchase. If you don’t have a copy of your receipt, you can find this in your VRG GRL account. 

All purchases made in-store follow our usual online return policy.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to return your item in store, please do not lodge a return online.

ONLINE PURCHASES

Online purchases can also be returned in-store within 30 days of purchase. You have 30 days from your order being shipped to lodge your return. 

You will need to provide your full name and order number for purchases made online.

IN-STORE EXCHANGES:

We offer size exchanges in-store if the style and size is available.

Return packaging is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend reusing your original shipping bag where possible to reduce waste and costs.

Please ensure your items are securely packaged for the return journey. We cannot be held liable for damaged items during transit where the items have not been securely returned. 

Faults

If you think you have received a faulty or incorrect item, we recommend contacting us as soon as possible after receiving your order so we can resolve it quickly for you.

Please include images of the issues found.

If an item is deemed as having manufacturer damage/fault, you will not incur any additional costs, and will be offered a replacement item or a refund/store credit.

VRG GRL does not accept returns on items damaged by general wear and tear - wear and tear refers to natural deterioration from normal use and is not considered a fault. VRG GRL reserve the right to determine what constitutes a genuine fault in the clothing.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

VRG GRL makes every effort to ensure stock levels are accurate at time of purchase. However, if the item(s) you have ordered is not available, you will be issued a store credit or refund for the out of stock item.
