Paris: The dream city to shoot our latest campaign. Featuring bold layering, and structured silhouettes balanced with feminine details, there was no backdrop more perfect than the city that inspires us most, Paris.
Dorit Revelis, with her free spirit and effortless beauty, was the ultimate muse to wear this collection.
DAY 1: THURSDAY 10/10
We flew from Brisbane to Paris and landed in the late afternoon, heading straight to our hotel in the 8th Arrondissement - the perfect location for our 5 day stay in Paris.
After unpacking and freshening up, we walked to dinner at Bistrot De Marius, feeling very ready for a glass of wine.
DAY 2: FRIDAY 11/10
Our morning started early with a coffee and baguette at Cafe L’Etoile 1903. Today was recce day, which involved meeting with our photographer, videographer and production team, to visit our shoot locations throughout Paris for the morning.
We then spent the rest of the day visiting stores we love, including Jacquemus and Zara, and had a relaxed lunch at a Lebanese restaurant called Noura Marceau.
After a big day on the ground in Paris and with jet lag kicking in, we called it for an early night.
DAY 3: SATURDAY 12/10
After a good night’s rest, we woke up and went to breakfast at Judy Paris.
For ultimate inspiration and sourcing unique styling accessories, one of our favourite ways to spend time is vintage shopping. For the rest of the day in Paris we were lucky enough to visit so many vintage stores including Hippy Market, Nice Piece Vintage, Nuevo, Thanks God I’m a VIP, The Parisian Vintage, Takk Paris, Skat Vintage and Palettist Vintage (just to name a few).
Lunch was at Mam From Hanoi today - the best Vietnamese.
DAY 4: SUNDAY 13/10
Sunday was another dream day in Paris; waking up early to have a coffee and croissant at Cafe Nuances, before a day of shopping and sourcing at the flea markets. We spent all day exploring the Flea Market Rue Jean Henri Fabre. By the afternoon, we freshened up after another busy day on the ground in Paris, and went for a drink at our hotel lobby bar, before heading to dinner at L’avenue.
DAY 5: MONDAY 14/10
Monday was shoot day, and we woke up to perfect weather in Paris. It was an early start, with call time for hair and makeup at 7am. The base for the day, and also our first shoot location, was a beautiful apartment overlooking the Eiffel Tower and surrounding streets. We had our breakfast and coffee (there were many) on set, and then made our way to the streets below. We had scouted perfect shoot locations around Paris during our recce day, and we ended the shoot on the Ponte Alexandre III Bridge by early evening.
The shoot was such a great success and the perfect way to end our 5 days in Paris. Our return flight home was early the next day, so we spent the night packing our bags in preparation for the long trip home.
